What is the difference between "Daily Data" and "Total Data"?
- Daily Data (e.g., 1GB/Day): You get a set amount of high-speed data every day. Once you hit the limit, your speed may drop (throttle) until it resets the next day.
- Total Data (e.g., 10GB Total): You receive a lump sum of high-speed data to use however you like over the course of your trip. There are no daily limits.
Can I use mobile hotspot/tethering to share data?
Yes. All of our eSIM packages support mobile hotspot and tethering, so you can easily share your internet connection with other devices like your laptop or family members.
Does this eSIM include a local phone number?
Most of our eSIM are Data-Only, meaning they do not come with phone number. You can still make voice and video calls using internet-based apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Messenger, or Skype.
Note: Certain packages do include a number for local calls and SMS. Please check the specific product description to confirm.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number while using the eSIM?
Yes. When you start using your new eSIM, WhatsApp will continue to work perfectly with your original home phone number.
Do I need to remove my physical SIM card?
No. You can keep your physical SIM card inside your phone and simply run the eSIM alongside it.
Can I receive SMS/OTP from my home bank?

When should I buy and install my eSIM?
You can purchase your eSIM up to 30 days in advance of your travel date. We recommend installing the eSIM onto your phone right before departure on travel date. It is best to do this while you still have a secure and stable internet connection.
When does my plan actually start counting?
Your duration period does not start when you scan the QR code. The timer only begins when you enable Data Roaming for the eSIM. You should only enable it once you arrive in your destination country.
Important: Exceptions include Thailand (True) and Vietnam (Viettel), where the timer starts immediately upon scanning the QR code.

Do I need a Wi-Fi connection to install the eSIM?
Yes. You must have a secure internet connection (mobile data, hotspot, or private Wi-Fi) to successfully scan the QR code and download the eSIM profile to your phone, hence its recommended to install the eSIM before departure.
Can I scan the QR code on multiple devices?
No. eSIM QR code is single-use. Once it has been scanned and installed on a device, it becomes permanently locked to that specific phone and cannot be transferred or scanned again, even if it is deleted from the original device.
