Kept me connected in the Himalayas

"Traveled to Bhutan for a week. Standard Asia eSIMs never cover it, but this pass worked perfectly in Thimphu and Paro. Speeds were solid enough to video call my family from the mountains. Total lifesaver."

Finally, an eSIM that works in Guam!

"As someone who travels between Japan, Korea, and Guam frequently, it's always a nightmare finding data for Guam since it's a US territory. This single pass covered my entire route flawlessly. 5G speeds in Tumon!"

Essential for Kathmandu & Pokhara

"Used the 10-day pass for my trek in Nepal. I had surprisingly good 4G coverage in Kathmandu and most of Pokhara. So much easier than dealing with the physical SIM registration at Tribhuvan airport."

Great for business trips to Brunei

"Data roaming in Brunei is notoriously expensive with my home carrier. Bought this eSIM right before my flight and activated it upon landing in Bandar Seri Begawan. Excellent connection on DSTCom."

One pass for my whole Asia tour

"Did a multi-stop trip through Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei. I didn't have to change SIMs or buy local packages once. The hotspot feature was great for working on my laptop during layovers."

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my phone compatible with an eSIM?
Most modern smartphones are eSIM compatible. You may refer to our Device Compatibility Checker above for more info.
Important: Your device must be carrier-unlocked to use the eSIM. iPhones purchased in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao typically do not support eSIM functionality.
What is the difference between "Daily Data" and "Total Data"?
  • Daily Data (e.g., 1GB/Day): You get a set amount of high-speed data every day. Once you hit the limit, your speed may drop (throttle) until it resets the next day.
  • Total Data (e.g., 10GB Total): You receive a lump sum of high-speed data to use however you like over the course of your trip. There are no daily limits.
Can I use mobile hotspot/tethering to share data?
Yes. All of our eSIM packages support mobile hotspot and tethering, so you can easily share your internet connection with other devices like your laptop or family members.
Does this eSIM include a local phone number?
Most of our eSIM are Data-Only, meaning they do not come with phone number. You can still make voice and video calls using internet-based apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Messenger, or Skype.
Note: Certain packages do include a number for local calls and SMS. Please check the specific product description to confirm.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number while using the eSIM?
Yes. When you start using your new eSIM, WhatsApp will continue to work perfectly with your original home phone number.
Do I need to remove my physical SIM card?
No. You can keep your physical SIM card inside your phone and simply run the eSIM alongside it.
Can I receive SMS/OTP from my home bank?
Yes. To receive banking OTP, leave your primary SIM turned ON as you "Default Voice Line", but ensure you change your "Cellular Data" source to the new eSIM.
Important: Make sure "Data Roaming" is turned OFF on your primary SIM to avoid being charged by your local provider.
When should I buy and install my eSIM?
You can purchase your eSIM up to 30 days in advance of your travel date. We recommend installing the eSIM onto your phone right before departure on travel date. It is best to do this while you still have a secure and stable internet connection.
When does my plan actually start counting?
Your duration period does not start when you scan the QR code. The timer only begins when you enable Data Roaming for the eSIM. You should only enable it once you arrive in your destination country.
Important: Exceptions include Thailand (True) and Vietnam (Viettel), where the timer starts immediately upon scanning the QR code.
Do I need a Wi-Fi connection to install the eSIM?
Yes. You must have a secure internet connection (mobile data, hotspot, or private Wi-Fi) to successfully scan the QR code and download the eSIM profile to your phone, hence its recommended to install the eSIM before departure.
Can I scan the QR code on multiple devices?
No. eSIM QR code is single-use. Once it has been scanned and installed on a device, it becomes permanently locked to that specific phone and cannot be transferred or scanned again, even if it is deleted from the original device.

Seamless Connectivity Across the Asia-Pacific

Planning a trip across the Asia-Pacific region is thrilling, but figuring out how to stay connected across vastly different telecommunication networks can be a headache. Travelers often waste time searching for how to get reliable data in Nepal and Bhutan or trying to find the best eSIM for Asia Pacific travel. Relying on your home carrier often leads to massive international roaming charges, while hunting for local SIM cards in remote or highly regulated countries is frustrating. That is why we developed the ultimate solution: the eTravel Asia-Pacific travel eSIM.

Designed to eliminate roaming fees, our multi-country Asia eSIM instantly connects you to the fastest local networks across 34 regions. While most standard Asia passes only cover major hubs, our premium eSIM grants you exclusive access to hard-to-reach and premium destinations. Whether you are trekking the Himalayas, exploring ancient temples, or relaxing on tropical beaches, you need an eSIM for Guam, Brunei, Nepal, and Bhutan that actually works. With high-speed 4G and 5G connectivity, you can move seamlessly from major cities to remote landscapes without ever dropping your signal or swapping a physical SIM card.

What makes this package exceptional is its uncompromising coverage in regions where roaming is typically expensive or restricted. Enjoy seamless access without hidden wholesale markups, giving you a fully functional data eSIM for premium Asia-Pacific destinations. This is perfect for utilizing Google Maps in the winding streets of Kathmandu, posting photos from the Tiger's Nest in Bhutan, or coordinating business meetings in Bandar Seri Begawan, all without paying exorbitant international roaming rates.

Skip the expensive roaming packages and the hassle of registering physical SIM cards at foreign airports. Simply buy online, scan your QR code before you fly, and enjoy instant, borderless connectivity from the mountains of Nepal to the beaches of Guam.
